In this article, we will walk you through your first listing. Keep in mind: you can always edit these inputs by going to your profile and selecting "Listings". So, don't stress!
- Category: Under the category option, you have the choice to indicate whether you offer meal prep or gourmet services. Gourmet is booking per meal, think dinner or lunch for a group of people. Meal prep would involve cooking larger portions intended to be stored in customer provided storage containers.
- Images (Optional): This is your opportunity to show off some of your cooking. You can also upload an image of yourself, if you so wish. Try to stand out!
- Title: Give your listing a unique, catchy title.
- Price: Set your price per visit. This is your total amount billed and it helps the customer know exactly how much they should expect to be charged.
- Security Deposit (Optional): Use this field if you wish to charge a deposit to secure appointments.
- Location: Add your postal/zip code so that local customers are able to find you. You do not need to fill in your complete address.
- Restrictions: If there are any foods or cuisines you do not wish to cook/deal with, please indicate that here.
- Specialty: If you have any specialty dishes or cuisines, let customers know!
- Tags (Optional): Tags are optional but they may help increase your chances of being found by a customer if they search for specific words.
- Extras (Optional): This is an opportunity to add more value to your customers. Include extra services that you're able to offer, and at what rate. Examples include: photos of completed food, grocery pick-up, etc.
- Requirements (Optional): If you would like customers to provide you with specific information, list those requirements here. For example: where is the cookware? where are the storage containers? how many meals would you like me to pack for you? etc.
- Description: Add a description for your customers.Talk a little bit about yourself, what your specialties are, and what you can do for your customers.
- Booking Note (Optional): After your customer completes the booking, they will see this message. For example: "thank you for booking with me!"
- Booking Offset (Optional): This is how many days in advance a booking can be made. If you need at least 5 days before your booking, input 5. We highly recommend you input enough of an offset to prepare for your appointments.
- Booking Window (Optional): This is how far into the future you are willing to accept bookings. For example: if you are only looking to book for the next 30 days, input 30. This means that you are not accepting bookings more than 30 days in advance.
- Booking Days (Optional): These are the days of the week in which you are available for bookings. If you leave it blank you will be available 7 days a week.
- Booking Available From: This is the earliest time of day that you would accept bookings
- Booking Available To: This is the latest time of day that you would accept bookings
- Booking Timezone: Select the appropriate timezone.
- Booking Slot Duration: Let your customers know how long each booking appointment lasts for. This is in minutes - so if your appointment lasts one hour, input "60".
- Booking Slot Interval (Optional): This option allows you to add a "gap" between back-to-back bookings. We highly recommend putting a gap to allow for any necessary travel time. Keep in mind this is in minutes, not hours. So if you would like a one hour gap, input "60".
- Booking Import URL (Optional): If you would like to synchronize your external calendars with servizo, use this option to upload your external calendar's link.
- Booking Export URL: This is a link we provide you in case you would like to synchronize the booking calendar on the website with your personal calendar(s).
- Booking Requests: This option is available to you in case you would like to manually accept new bookings. Leaving it unchecked will automatically accept booking requests. We recommend checking this box so you can review the requests carefully before you're booked.
